Former ART Seniors at the Arizona State Fair!

Photography has brought so many amazing relationships to my life. I'm so thankful that my little passion also brings me friends!

I have been wanting to shoot at the fair for a few years. I love seeing the super colorful photos of other photographers, but the timing has never worked out. Looking at my calendar, I kept playing with the idea of contacting some former seniors but kept talking myself out of it. Then, I got a text from Miss Kortney, one of my first senior models, and I mustered up the courage to ask her if she wanted to meet me at the fair! I had one more former model (and one of my babysitters!) to text She agreed. The shoot at the fair was finally going to happen.

These images are exactly what I was envisioning. Being able to shoot for the sake of just being creative is exactly what I needed. However, I do have to say that the day we went to the fair wasn't under the most ideal conditions. Apparently it was wristband day AND free for the first hour day which basically means it was incredibly BUSY with people EVERYWHERE! Even though it was the end of October, the temps were in the mid to high 90's so we were a tad sweaty. And there was an abundance of...concrete. It wasn't exactly the type of fair I recall from my childhood, but again, it's the Arizona desert, not Pennsylvania farm land!

We pulled together as a team and got some really fun images which was the goal after all. AND I got to spend time with two incredibly amazing girls.
