Amber, Class of 2016 Estrella Foothills High School Senior | Goodyear, AZ Senior Photographer

I met Amber through one of my senior reps. During the planning I could tell she was a pretty cool girl but by the end of her session, I wanted to be her BFF. I'm seriously not kidding. She totally has a "swag" about her. I don't ever use that word so hopefully, I used it correctly. Ha! As soon as she opens her mouth, confidence comes pouring out...especially when I had my camera out and ready.

We started with hair and make up at Sanity Salon with Miss Angela. Amber decided she wanted straight hair for photos which I absolutely loved for her session. And her make up enhanced all of her features perfectly.

We met in downtown Glendale for an urban feel then ended at Manistee Ranch. We parked, tossed up the pop up changing room (in front of a bank, I think!), and were on our way to our first alley. As soon as we started, Justin Beiber started serenading Amber and her swagger became even more swaggery. LOL! Now, I'm just making things up, but you get the point.

We went from spot to spot, laughed a lot, and Amber killed every pose and look. Because we shot early afternoon, her glasses and I went to battle because of the reflection! So we did a lot with them on and off. She's gorgeous in her glasses but WOWZAS, the reflection in her eyes are out of this world when taken off. When we finished I was so sad it was all over.

AMBER!!! Thank you SO MUCH for choosing me to be your senior photographer. You are the best! Good luck at ASU next year. You are going to rock college like you did high school. XOXOXO,

Madison | Phoenix, AZ Senior Photographer

It's Madison's turn to grace the blog! Last May, she filled out an application to be on my first ever rep team. I remember meeting her at our first get together and being so impressed. I was impressed with the way she carried herself, the questions she asked, that she was going to school to be an aesthetician AND regular high school and that she had such a plan for her life.

We got to do a few sessions together before her Senior Plus Session. I already knew she had the most killer blue eyes and that she could really work the camera. We were both so excited for her session day to arrive. Prior to her date, she and her mom arranged to have her session at the Royal Palms Resort! I had never been but had seen amazing weddings shot there. I knew it was going to be a perfect morning.

Madison rolled in with her suitcase which totally looked like were were staying at the resort. They have such great service, I think we were asked at least ten times if they could take our bags to the room for us. Her suitcase was filled with all her outfits and goodies for her photos.

It felt like we had some parts of the resort completely to ourselves. The little "secret garden" area as I like to call it, was the perfect place to recoup in between outfits!

After we were finished at The Royal Palms, we took a few photos nearby in Arcadia by some enormous eucalyptus trees and palms then went downtown. When we got there, the clouds started to appear. We started early enough that we missed the rain....err terrential downpour...we got later that day.

Walking around the streets of Phoenix with Madison and her mom made me feel like I knew them both my whole life. We would walk a little, then shoot until we found a parking garage. I had always wanted to shoot on a rooftop of a garage and finally had the chance to. With the rain clouds rolling in, the city's colors just popped behind Madison! It couldn't have been more perfect.

Since Madison had her session earlier this year, we have had a chance to work together doing what she loves - makeup! She is so incredibly talented and is totally legit :). She even has one of those cool ring light things. I was impressed at the beginning of the year, but now, I'm am BLOWN. AWAY! She has done five sessions for me so far and every single one of the girls were in love with the way she made them look and feel. She's off to ASU in the Fall which hopefully means we can still work together next year.

Thank you, Madison for being an amazing senior rep this year and for being YOU! I am so proud of you and all that you have already accomplished this year and you haven't even graduated high school yet. Good luck at college!!! xoxoxo,
