Senior portraits were so important to Savannah, she booked two sessions with me! You can check out her urban Fall session here. We made a little road trip in search of snow in Prescott, AZ.
When we got to our first meeting spot, it was very dead. NOTHING like the photos we saw online. We sort of forgot that parks don't look so pretty in the winter in places other than Phoenix! Phoenicians are a bit spoiled.
We heard of an abandoned trussell bridge thing, asked some locals and found it! It was a portion of a bridge but photographed perfectly. However, it was a tad bit windy. Poor Savannah had hair in her eyes, nose, probably ears. LOL! I had what I called my "mobile style closet" which solved the problem.
After the bridge, we climbed up the hill (in our cars, not by foot) to a lake where we found..........wait for it........SNOW! A teeny weeny tiny bit of snow but it was WHITE SNOW! As expected it was windy but nothing my style closet or a little nook in the woods couldn't solve. Savannah and I were both so excited for the location that even crazy cross winds couldn't steal our happiness.
My handy dandy sidekick from Michelle Praskins Photography joined us which made the session that much more special, too. We even made new friends!
I seriously cannot explain my love for Savannah and her family. She is sweet beyond words. Her smile just makes me feel happy. I don't think anyone could have a bad day around her. The joy you see in the photos is genuinely Savannah! She sure can bring her game face, too!
Savannah, good luck at CCU in the Fall. You are going to LOVE college and have the best time in Colorado. I will miss you I'm sure along with your family. Lots of love,
