Savannah, Class of 2016 | Glendale, AZ Senior Photographer

A few years ago, I met Savannah when her entire family - grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, came together for a big session. Now she's graduating and can't wait to head off to college and then to become a Physician's Assistant!

She has such a sweet spirit about her that I absolutely adore. Her smile and laughter brightens up everything around her. From the very first shot, I knew my camera was going to love her. I loved all the colors she chose that coordinated perfectly with the changing leaves of downtown Glendale.

This won't be the last time I see her which excites me even more. In fact, we are heading up north for a different look - read: pine trees and bridges! So she will soon be gracing the blog once again.

Thank you, Savannah, for letting your light shine. You have such a BRIGHT future ahead of you and I can't wait to see how God uses you. Lots of love,

Cervantes Family & Engagement Session | Phoenix, AZ Photographer

We had more rain this Fall than I remember ever having for sessions in the past. On this day, told us we should be okay, but it lied! Oh how it lied. Okay, I know it's not a FOR sure thing, but we did have some breaks AND we got to take some cool pictures in the middle of the street in downtown Phoenix that we would have otherwise never been able to capture. I had a blast dodging rain and getting absolutely soaked with this family. We were able to do some engagement photos AND family all in one.

Because of all the rain, we did decide to take a little rain check and shoot again at a different spot in Phoenix. This time, I wasn't shooting an engaged couple anymore but the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Cervantes!

We found more brick walls and alleyways. Unlike when we did our rainy session, the city was so busy. The National College Football game was held in Phoenix this year so festivities were going on just a few blocks from us. Read: people everywhere! The good this is we had some background music to jam out to! We managed to find a few spots without crowds of people and again had a lot of laughs.

Thank you Cervantes family for choosing me to be your photographer. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you all and to photograph your sweet family! Lots of love,
