Two and a half years ago, I remember getting ready for my first full newborn session. I had take some pictures of two other newborns but didn't really set it up like I was planning on this Februrary day. I had read a few things, got a backdrop stand and thought I was ready to pose a baby. Thankfully, Miss Vivian slept for a little while letting us get a few set ups in. When I uploaded the pictures to my computer, I realized I should've shot from many different angles and editing was a whole other realm I wasn't so sure of.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I got to take pictures of Vivian's brand new baby BROTHER! This time, I was a lot more prepared and seasoned and have a lot more...stuff! We took baby brother's pictures in the same room but it had a brand new look to it as well! Looking back from then until now, one thing remains constant, newborns take a lot of time and practice especially when setting up in someone's house. So thankful this family welcomed me with open arms into their home to photograph their new bundle of joy.
As with all two year olds, it took a little time for Viv to warm up to the whole idea of photos but halfway through, she asked her mom where her "friend" was. Yep, she called me her friend. SCORE! She had no idea how awesome that made me feel. Right back at ya, girly!
Thank you D family for being so patient, kind and just darn awesome once again. I absolutely love seeing you all time and time again and am even more thankful for our friendship. Enjoy every second of your newest bundle. Congratulations! Lots of love,
