like home | Surprise, Waddell, Arizona Newborn Lifestyle Photographer

A year ago, I had the privilege of meeting little Miss Julia for her first birthday photos. I had just found this gorgeous horse ranch for photos and her parents were willing to discover it with me!

Earlier this year, I found out Julia was going to have a baby BROTHER! I couldn't be more excited for this family.

When discussing location options, we ended up deciding on the ranch again because "it felt like home." Both parents are from the northeast where they happen to have trees and grass and beautiful landscapes unlike the dry arid desert we have here.

This is the first outdoor newborn session I've done. Mr. Oliver wasn't so sure about his surroundings so it took him a while to get settled which was when Julia was ready to go home! But somehow it all worked.

I had a lot planned in my head of shots I wanted to get, but as usual, the kids determined how the session would go. So we started with family and Julia and got to end with some sweet pictures of Oliver. It's good to try new things and explore different ways to photograph a new life.

Thank you {G} family for your incredible patience and for dealing with my OCD. You are blessed with two gorgeous babies. Oh, and thank you to grandma, aka: the baby whisperer who helped relax sweet Ollie. Congrats again. Lots of love.
