down on the farm | surprise, arizona family photographer

Last year, I got a call from a sweet young lady in Texas wanting to purchase a gift certificate for her son's family who just moved to Arizona. It was my very first gift certificate sold AND one of the first times I got a call from someone who found me online. I may have been a little over ecstatic on the phone but got a few giggles from the other end which made it all good.

With life being crazy it took a while to get a session set up, but the timing could not have worked more perfectly once we finally met. The first date we scheduled we got rained out - yep, it does rain here in Arizona sometimes - but the rescheduled date was a little warm but great for photos!

With minimal communication beforehand, I really had no idea what to expect until I pulled up to the ranch. Wow, what a sweet and fun family. These two boys are so incredibly loved and have just the sweetest personalities. My little guy and their little guy are close in age and I saw so many similarities as they are both such HAMS! We were all laughing so much which is always a great sign.

Besides little {G}'s hilarious facial expressions and cute little sayings, he sure has the "brush it off" DOWN! He fell a few times as you can see from his dusty overalls (which I think just adds to the farm-themed session!) and every time, he'd stand up, brush it hands and move on. There was no stopping him. And his big brother was there to help him get up every time. And I got to capture it all!

Thank you {S} family for being YOU and for letting your boys be themselves and have fun. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of our down on the farm session. Cowboy boots and all!
