The day I met Liam, he was wide awake the entire two hours I was there and he was only eight days old. I wasn't sure if he'd sleep for his pictures a few days later, but he did! He was really loving his paci, but I got lucky and was able to sneak it out a few times...enough to capture his gorgeous little face!
I can't believe how how it was outside. It was already 103 degrees when I arrived at 9am! We snapped a few pictures on their front porch but for safety reasons, stayed inside the rest of the session. Thank goodness for AC!
Liam's big brother, Kaine, was a pleasure to hang out with. He's full of energy like my little dudes so it's never easy but I find it fun to play games and come up with ways to make sure he is having fun. He was incredibly good with his baby brother, too. I love asking big brothers to find their baby's nose or ears. He was extremely gentle and curious. I can just tell he's going to be protective, too!
When we got to pictures of just Liam, we had two set ups that were priority - his mama's handcrafted cradle her dad made her when she was a baby and his daddy's firefighter gear. Both were a success! The cradle was just perfect! I loved the color of the wood, how it sat high off the ground, and how Liam looked in it. I was really able to capture his beautiful lashes! Newborns aren't supposed to have lashes like that!
Congratulations, Alesha and Shinji! You have the sweetest and gorgeous little boys. Thank you once again for letting me capture such precious moments in your lives!
