Vincent, five weeks new | Phoenix, Arizona Newborn Photography

This family was my very first family I photographed that I didn't know. I can't even tell you how much I learned from their session. I learned how to take charge, how to check schedules at locations you want to go to BEFORE the session (yep, we showed up to an art fair and had to go somewhere else!), how to get a toddler to warm up to me, and how to compose pictures in a different environment than I am used to. So I am extremely grateful to this family for allowing me to learn so much and still decided to get pictures done with me again!

This time, I got to meet their newest addition. I wasn't sure how Adrianna, the big sister, would do since the last time we met she didn't care for me that much. This time we were besties! She and my son are just days apart so I felt like I could get on her level better this time. And by level I mean, just talk about princesses and allow her to draw on my chalkboard, of course!

This session could not have gone any better though. Adrianna was as sweet as could be with her little brother, helped me with set ups, held the blanket up, and did a little posing of her own. And Vincent, oh my goodness, he was just amazing. I had every intention of not doing studio-type photos with him and only lifestyle since he came a little early and was already five weeks old, but he slept better than some of the week old babies I've photographed. He basically slept the whole time despite his very loud sleep sounds. I loved it!

We kept it nice and simple with a few set ups. I was excited to use a tie again from the amazing AdBre Creations! It went perfectly with my green blanket I haven't been able to use yet. And what baby doesn't look beyond adorable in a little tie? And we kept the rest nice and neutral including the last set of photos we did with his mama which were my favorites. She is just gorgeous especially with that handsome little man cuddled up to her face. Ahhh, in love!

Welcome to the world, Mr. Vincent Marino! You are going to be such a little lady killer. Can't wait to see how big you've grown this fall! And Congratulations, S Family! You are truly blessed!
