Carlton Family | Phoenix, AZ Family Photography

I am very honored this family contacted me to take their family photos for many reasons. I first met Danee at Stroller Strides. She was so incredibly sweet to me by making me feel so welcome. She just has such a magnetic personality making you want to be her friend. And her girls are darling. I still can't get over Addison's gorgeous eyes that just captivate me. And her little sister, Brennan, has the cutest little face, it took every bit of me not to just squeeze her little cheeks! Brennan was a typical one and a half year old and needed some incentives (lollipops!) to keep her focused. We were able to steal it most of the time, but it did make its way into a few pictures!

One of the reasons I like taking family photos is because I get to witness love. It's true what they say, love comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, numbers, etc. Not sure if that's exactly how it goes, but I love to capture love. It is so refreshing and amazing to me to watch the love a parent has for their child but even more so, a husband has for his wife and a wife has for her husband. My favorite moment from the whole session was when I was chasing after the girls and when I turned around, Danee and Josh were just loving on each other. So. Sweet.

I don't get to see this wonderful family often, so this was an opportunity to hang out for a little and have some fun through some desert landscape. Enjoy your previews and again, thank you so much for letting me spend time with your family!

Birthday Party Fun! Steven turns ONE | Goodyear, AZ Event Photographer

I'm a little behind on posting this one, but I got to take pictures at a super cute Mickey Mouse birthday party for the one and only little Steven. The party was held at a park that happened to have a lake as the backdrop. It was such a beautiful day. Besides the beautiful location, the fun activities and decorations just made this party that much more special for Steven's special day.

Steven's dad is a graphic designer (who helped design my logo and look!) so he made the absolute cutest little signs for their popcorn maker, hot dog maker, snow cone machine, and of course, gooey fish (my favorite!). Yes, they had all of those things at the party. In addition, there was an ice cream truck, a super fun bouncy obstacle course and what's a first birthday without a pinata?!There was so much for the kids to do and they all had so much fun especially eating all that sugar! I think the birthday boy got his share of treats and fun, too!

Ellason, 6 months | Glendale, AZ Baby Photographer

ruffle. rompers. love.

It was time for Ella's six month pictures and her mom had a little fun planning the her and her sister's outfits for this session which I absolutely loved. It was still a little warm so Ella wasn't as smiley as she typically is, but we still had a good time. Once that romper came off, she was incredibly content and couldn't keep her toes out of her mouth. Also, she isn't sitting up quite yet so we had to get creative. It was all about Ella but my camera couldn't help but follow her almost four year old sister, Adeline who was also decked out in a super cute romper, she was just ready to pose. I can't wait to see what's in store for these girls' nine month and four year pictures!

Ava is FOUR! | Goodyear, AZ Family Photographer

Wow, I just love this little girl and her very sweet family. Not only are they beautiful but some of the sweetest people I know. I looked back at the pictures I did for them in March, and it's amazing how much they've grown (of course, I'm referring to the kiddos). Ava recently celebrated her fourth birthday and Ethan is now walking and running all over the place! Their grandparents got to join us again which was a special treat.

I wasn't sure about going to Estrella in the morning and I'm so happy we did. It was just amazing light paired with a gorgeous location, wonderful family and of course, a pretty princess! Ava took some time to warm up but she is always ready with that pretty smile. We had a tougher time getting Ethan to laugh or smile but I was determined! And even if he didn't smile, those big brown eyes are entrancing! He was in his own little world wanting to do what he wanted to do and I followed. In all, we had a great cool morning. Our session even had some background music as there was a half marathon ending just up from where we were. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Happy birthday, Miss Ava!
