Kaylee and Brooke and their awesome family | Buckeye, AZ Family Photographer

Grandma was coming to town so Jackie wanted to get some pictures done and Kaylee just recently turned four! I can't believe it's been six months since I took their pictures last. Her girls are just gorgeous and growing up so fast. And I got to meet their two other girls - their golden retrievers! I should've named this post, "Keith and the girls"!

I couldn't wait to take them to my new favorite hill. And of course, there wasn't one single cloud in the sky. We had a blast running up and down, blowing bubbles, playing on the playground, and just letting the girls have fun. I really wanted to get a picture of the dogs running down the hill but they got tuckered out before we got to that shot! Jackie and Keith were so easy to take pictures of as they are both photogenic but weren't afraid to have fun with each other. Love them!

Before we got too tired, we headed up to Main Street for some dancing and a little rest on a fun tucked away bench. In all, it was a great morning and I'm excited about these previews. Yes, I know, I'm always excited!

Cruz, 16 days new | Phoenix, Arizona Newborn Photography

Little Cruz arrived a little earlier than his due date with a whole head of hair! I couldn't wait to meet him. I wasn't sure how he would do since he was a few weeks old and his "awake" time is typically in the morning, but as soon as I got a hold of him swaddled tightly, he was out! I was so excited we were able to take him down to a little wash next to their house. Probably a little too excited, but there were even clouds making the perfect light! Perfect light for a perfect baby.

I could've held him all day but after a few hours gave him back to his proud parents. They are doing such a wonderful job with their new bundle of joy. He is one lucky kid to have parents who love him so much. Congratulations, Briana and Steven!

Natalie, waiting for baby number three! | Buckeye, Arizona Maternity and Family Photographer

This family was my very first family I took pictures of officially as ART Photography! It's amazing to look at how far I've come and how much I've learned. Also, I got to see how much Ainsley and Evan grew along with their baby sister in their mommy's tummy! Since they moved, we don't get to see each other as often. Mims, Natalie's mom, and MJ, Natalie's super cute brother joined us as well making this session even more special.

As soon as we started, the kids were first priority because they had a ton of energy! They posed for a few but then just wanted to PLAY which I had no problem with at all. I had a sheet to help with the blazing sun, but they thought it was for them to play hide and seek. I went with it and as soon as they popped out, their expressions were just priceless and displayed their personalities so well. They also had a blast wrestling with Mims, their mom and uncle. I kind of wish I could've joined in on the fun!

I think I always say "I have so much fun or I was so excited", but honestly, I did and usually always am! I especially love when families aren't afraid to have fun. Natalie and Christian had no problem with this! Not only were they silly with each other, but you can just tell they love each other so much.

Natalie is such an amazing mommy to her two little ones now and is going to be that much greater when baby girl arrives. And seriously, how gorgeous is she? In some of the pictures, you can't even tell she's pregnant! I just can't wait to meet their baby girl. Congratulations, Natalie, Christian, Ainsley and Evan!

Kaenaan, 1 year! | Buckeye, AZ Baby Photographer

He made it! Kaenaan was my first baby that I was able to take pictures at three months, six months, nine months and now one year! It has been a ton of fun watching him go from barely being able to lift his head to crawling all over the place. His personality is really starting to blossom. His emotions are also fun to witness, the happy and the sad.

Balloons, a polka dot bowtie, awesome vest, checkered shirts, bubbles, cake - this session was just loaded with greatness. We went to a new location (which I shot another family there last week) with a cool hill and our Arizona crystal blue skies. Kaenaan didn't like the hill as much as I did, but his mom and I still love the pictures of him crying. I don't know how you can't. It's almost as he was posing for me amidst the tears. It wasn't long before he was happy again in the shade. I don't blame him because that sun is HOT!

We ended with some bubble fun and a "smash cake" session. I loved his expression as soon as he saw the cupcakes. He couldn't get his hands on them fast enough which made it so I had to act fast because there was icing everywhere in an instant! And as usual, I had to get at least one shot of his older brother.

Happy FIRST Birthday, Kaenaan!!!

Great Grandma, Grandma, Katie and Ella, four generations | Surprise, AZ Extended Family Photographer

Multiple generations are so much fun to capture especially when it's of just four beautiful girls inside and out. The weather and the location worked to our advantage with Katie's awesome choice of styling!

I've known Katie since before she had Ella and have been around Ella a few times, but yet, she was still really shy. There were a few times she would forget I was there like when a school bus or "Fire Truck Sam" drove by. It really didn't matter though because even her shy faces are just absolutely adorable. I loved the moments where she would just look to the side and bite her lip. I fell in love with great grandma! I just couldn't get enough of her awesome sense of humor as she kept trying to escape. She is just as adorable as little Ella in her own way and with many more years behind her. In the middle are Katie and her mom. They were extremely fun and even got down with some funky dancing (which, I decided not to post even though they're awesome but thought I'd leave that up to Katie's discretion!!).

We had such a great morning together and I am honored I was able to take pictures of four generations that they will hopefully cherish forever.
