Angela: waiting for baby Corbin

When deciding whether or not to do maternity pictures, Angela let me talk her into doing some fun shots in the desert. Her husband is in the Air Force so they won't be living here forever and what a better way to remember where Corbin was born than maternity pictures in the desert. AND...we were so lucky with weather. With temperatures recently in the 110's, we got lucky with a cooler evening. It was only 96 and breezy. You know I've lived here for too long when I think 96 is cooler, but I'm telling you, it is!

Her son, Beau, was like a little movie star waiting in the air conditioned car until it was his turn. He did so well, too. It was very apparent how excited he is to be a big brother. He can't wait to meet this little guy and neither can I! Just a few more weeks until Corbin Alexander makes his debut!!!

Ellason - 3 months

I love spending the first year with a baby because they just change so much every time I see them. I got to spend my first session with Ella who just turned three months. She was smiley, serious and even sleepy (even though I didn't post any sleepy ones - I was able to get her to fall asleep for a few minutes)! We met super early in the morning and I had a great time watching her family just look at her in awe, especially her older sister, Addi.

We ended the session with Ella in a suitcase, wearing the most gorgeous head band, pearls and a tutu. So incredibly beautiful! I'm excited to see what is planned for her six month pictures!

Jayce - Happy 3rd Birthday

Jayce is THREE! I met this little guy when he was just seven months old and he has become one of my son's bestest friends. We are so thankful to have his family in our lives. It has been so much fun to watch him grow and when I didn't think it was possible, he just gets cuter.

His mom threw an amazing red, white and blue themed birthday party for him just weeks after having his baby sister. Very impressive! I have decided not to take my camera to birthday parties anymore so I can chase after my crazy toddler but when I was asked, I couldn't resist. I mean seriously, look at those dimples! With fun in the bounce house and ball pit, the pool, amazing food and the best candy bar ever, we had such a great time at this little guy's party. Again, happy birthday, Jayce!
